The initiatory school from which LA MAISON DU FA comes, is itself heir to the initiatory traditions of the Yoruba kingdom of Ilé-Ifè in Nigeria and those of the kingdom of Danhomè located on the plateau of the town of Abomey in the current Republic of Benin.
The kingdom of Danhomè and its initiatory tradition is best known throughout the world because of the role played by King Béhanzin (1845-1906) in the resistance to French colonization, and the role played in this war by the elite corps of famous amazons of the kingdom.
LA MAISON DU FA offers three (3) initiatory paths:
- Self-knowledge through initiation into the Fa
- Self-realization through material success
- Accomplishment through spiritual elevation and material success
